Convene Podcast

In 2016 and 2017 I worked with Convene, the magazine of the meetings and conferences industry, to produce a monthly podcast. Convene had never had a podcast before. I developed, produced, and hosted the show, which was a combination of narrative storytelling and a Q&A format.

All the episodes were related in some way to the meetings industry, but it was amazing what we covered under that umbrella: from the importance of taking vacations as an event planner, to the intersection of conferences and child sex trafficking, to what churches can tell us about conferences.

In 2017 the podcast won a gold award for best educational podcast from Association Media & Publishing.
